GovStack: A Global Community for Digital Transformation

Join us to explore how the GovStack community is empowering countries to create affordable, customized digital public services—so citizens can easily access things like health records or digital payments. We’ll spotlight the Cloud Infrastructure Working Group and share examples from countries like Djibouti on their digital journeys.
Session Description
In this session, we’ll explore how GovStack supports countries in building cost-effective, customized digital public services. Focusing on the Cloud and Infrastructure Working Group, we’ll show how international experts collaborate within a global community to jointly develop technical specifications. We’ll highlight Djibouti as an example, where the country is creating an open source sandbox environment for cloud infrastructure as well as making use of GovStack’s capacity development offerings. Djibouti’s digital transformation provides a real-world example of how GovStack’s support and its specifications, in this case from the Cloud and Infrastructure Working Group, are being practically applied. Lastly, we’ll demonstrate how GovStack’s open-source, community-driven approach promotes collaboration between countries, allowing them to learn from one another, share best practices, and continually enhance their digital services.
